This Week at Waters - March 20

Waters Families,

New student registration for the next year is approaching! Please let anyone you know with an incoming kindergartner to visit our Admission & Enrollment page. We will also be having a special incoming kindergarten event before this school year ends called "Get Ready for Kindergarten" to see some classrooms and meet teachers. The event will be after school on Wednesday, May 27.

The Lost & Found will be cleared after Spring Break. Please check for any lost items by Friday, April 3.

This is a reminder to keep track of your student's use of social media. If you encounter inappropriate content on your student's social media, please take the following steps in this order:

1. Take screenshots of the content.
2. Report misuse directly through the social media platform (eg Tiktok, Instagram, Snapchat...)
3. Inform school administration, include screenshots, usernames, etc.

Responses from the school and CPS will depend on the specific circumstances of the post. These three steps will enable Waters and CPS to begin the process of investigating and removing the content as quickly as possible.

This year’s Big Night will be on Friday, April 17, 2026 at Sarabande at 7:00 PM. Early Bird tickets are still available for one more week!

It is time for the Local School Council to conduct their annual principal evaluation. The LSC will take your feedback into account when completing its required performance reviews for Mr. Rutkowski. Your response these questions are anonymous and will be kept confidential.

El Consejo Escolar Local (LSC) tendrá en cuenta sus comentarios al completar las evaluaciones de desempeño requeridas para el Sr. Rutkowski.
