CitiTalk: Will Covid-19 Derail the Transition to a more Sustainable Economy?
St Andrews alumni at Citibank, along with the University of St Andrews Banking and Finance Society and the Careers Centre, are excited to bring together a panel of experts to discuss the impact of the global pandemic on sustainability.
As governments and institutions deal with the severe health, economic and financial consequences of the Covid-19 crisis is there money, time and political willpower to continue on a transition path to a net-zero and sustainable world? Or has Covid killed sustainability?
We invite St Andrews students and alumni to join Citi in a topical debate. Speakers will include Citi's head of Sustainable Banking, and will be moderated by St Andrews alumni.

Employability Skills Series - Week 4: Creative Confidence
The graduate job market is highly competitive, meaning employers can and will look for more ways to set applicants apart. Developing your soft skills is a crucial part of making yourself more employable, which is why HSBC have designed these workshops to target the most in-demand skills fit for the current climate, useful for all students no matter their career intentions!
With the landscape of the world evolving faster than ever before, creativity is being seen as a vital business skill. But how are creativity and confidence linked and what does “Creative Confidence” actually mean?
This hour-long workshop will explore the connection between the two, why this skill should be high on your agenda and how it can help you to achieve goals in both a personal and professional capacity.
