Hello QCVA Families,

As we enter the holiday season, I want to share my deepest gratitude for the incredible spirit and dedication shown by our school community. To our students: thank you for your hard work, for consistently giving your best effort, and for the resilience you’ve shown by refusing to give up when faced with challenges. I am equally grateful to the parents and significant adults who have served as vital guides this year. Your dedication—from helping with schoolwork to providing the daily motivation your children need—is the foundation of their success, and we truly value our partnership with you.

As you enjoy this well-deserved break, please know that we are already looking forward to the next school year with great excitement. We are committed to building on this year's progress to ensure our students continue to thrive and reach new heights. May your holidays be filled with joy and rest, and we look forward to seeing everyone refreshed and ready for the wonderful year ahead.

Woohoo! We made it to the finish line, and we are so incredibly proud of every student for powering through those final exams. A massive "thank you" goes out to our amazing families for providing the endless support—and the rides to testing sites—that made this success possible! We are truly in awe of the dedication you’ve all shown, and we want to express our deepest appreciation for the hard work students and families put into making this semester a triumph. Your commitment to learning at home is what makes our school community so special, and we hope you feel a great sense of accomplishment for everything you’ve achieved. We hope you discovered your perfect study rhythm this term and feel proud of your final grades, which you can check now in StudentVue and ParentVue.

Looking ahead, your new Edgenuity classes will populate on December 30, 2026, so feel free to log in then to explore your new content and see if the classes spark your interest. Deadline to change classes is January 20, 2026.

A specialized College and Career Resources Google Classroom has been created exclusively for our 11th and 12th-grade students to serve as a comprehensive, single source of critical post-graduation information. This classroom is packed with resources on Free Application for Student Aid (FAFSA), scholarships, NCAA eligibility, how to apply and pay for college, and career preparation tools. Students are highly encouraged to join the Google Classroom immediately to stay informed and access all these vital resources in one place.

This is your golden opportunity to show off your festive spirit, cozy hobbies, or any cool creative projects you’re working on during the break. Did you bake a masterpiece of a gingerbread house, capture a beautiful snowy scene, or rock a hilarious "ugly" holiday sweater? A huge thank you to all our wonderful families who took the time to vote in last week’s poll—we loved hearing what’s on your mind! The results are in, and it’s clear that spending time with loved ones is the top priority for our QCVA Vipers this season! It was a close race for second place, ending in a fun tie between sleeping in and binge-watching favorite shows.
