We Invite You to Take Our Annual Family Survey
Dear Families,
It’s a great day to be a Viking! It is so rewarding to see staff and students in action and we are off to a great school year!
Your voice matters to us. Each year we invite families to take part in our annual survey, because feedback is a gift. It helps us affirm what we are doing well and identify ways we can better serve you and your students.
Please take a few minutes to share your thoughts, your input guides our work and strengthens our school community. Together, we can continue building the best possible experience for every student.
You can access the survey here or below.
Thank you for your partnership and support.

2025 Family Survey
At NBAPS we believe that feedback is essential to our shared success. Your survey input helps pave the way for future successes as we commit to excellence in all that we do. Please complete the 2025 Family Survey below. It can also be accessed at this link.
It's Homecoming 2025!
2025-26 Homecoming Coronation
Viking Victory Day
Vikings football players and coaches are hosting Viking Victory Day on Wednesday, Oct. 8, 5:30 - 6:30 pm at the stadium. All special needs students, grades K-12, are invited to spend some time with the team! Interested families please RSVP to Coach Voss at jvoss@isd138.org by October 6.
Perfect 10 is coming up
The NBAEF Perfect 10 event is coming up quick! Purchase your tickets by Sept. 28 to attend. This year’s event features AJ Spoff providing the tunes, and there will be games, raffles, and silent auction. All proceeds go to support students and staff at NBAPS. See flier for more details.
Calling all Pickleballers! Sign up for Homecoming Pickleball Palooza on Oct. 1 at 4:30 p.m. at this link. There will be upper and lower divisions for the tournament. Pre-registration will help determine the teams in each bracket and the number of courts needed for each division.
Announcements
Patron Tour dates announced
Dates for 2025-26 Patron Tours have now been selected! They are as follows:
- Friday, Oct. 24
- Friday, Dec. 12
- Friday, Feb. 20
- Friday, April 17
Anyone interested in any of the four tours can contact Community Relations Coordinator Patrick Tepoorten at ptepoorten@isd138.org or 651-674-1018.
School board appreciation month
September is School Board Appreciation month and NBAPS celebrated with a little help from students! Students helped create a short video, and Vikings football was on hand at the September meeting to form a “tunnel of appreciation” for school board members. Photos are here.
Walk and Roll Oct. 8
Join NBAPS, the City of North Branch, and Chisago County SHIP for the fall Walk and Roll to School, starting at St. Gregory's Church at the intersection of CR-30 and Maple St. It's a great way to get outside, get some exercise, and make new friends! We'll see you there on Wednesday, Oct. 8. See flier for further details.
FFA at the Apple Festival
On September 21, North Branch FFA volunteered at the Almelund Apple Festival running Kid’s Corner. Members helped kids learn the traditions of our ancestors by shelling and milling corn, washing clothing, woodcarving, stamping leather, and grinding and making play sausage. See more photos here.
He puts the "grand" in Grand Marshal
Spotted at Friday morning's Homecoming coronation was this year's parade Grand Marshal Max Malmquist. Max, pictured with Supt. Sara Paul and high school principal Clint Link, wrote the definitive history of the North Branch area, and is a long-time supporter of NBAPS and its staff and students. Way to go Max, and thank you!
