A Message from the Principal
Dear Academy Families and Friends,
Happy Spring! The lion days of March are behind us and more milder days ahead. As we celebrate the Equinox, we are also celebrating the end of Term 2. On to the final trimester of the school year. We've started planning for the next three months, so make sure to check the "Save the Date" section below early and often!
The March Mathness is on and going strong. We had some big numbers last week and they continue to climb. Did you know, during the challenge, students are completing an average of 46,000 puzzles a week. Great job kids!
For the week ahead, we are very excited for the return of the 3v3 Basketball tournament. It's such a fun night for the kids as 28 teams are competing. Friday, we'll celebrate our 13th annual Panda Day...Fun Fact-the current WHS Seniors were the first Academy class to begin the project!
On Wednesday and Thursday, ELA MCAS begins for Grade 3.For a complete listing of exams and dates, please see the chart below.
Parent Teacher Conferences are April 2st and 2nd. We hope to see and connect with each and every family! No School on Friday, April 3rd.
Thank you for all of your support,
Mr. Higgins
Principal
