Updates From The Principal
Hello NRMS Families,
There is no music like the music of The Beatles to bring down the house. And our Jazz band collaborated with the chorus to perform Hey Jude and received a well-deserved standing ovation to end the spring concert earlier this week. Bravo! All of our student musicians performed so well. The band's performance of the theme from Jurassic Park, the chorus' performance of a medley of songs from Hamilton, the musical, and the unbelievably talented string quartet performing solos as an intro to the full orchestra... wow! So impressive. We have amazing students and wonderful music educators. Thank you to the many parents and family members who attended this memorable concert.
We ended the week with a performance from the local rock band, Watch Your Step, featuring students from Eastham Elementary School, NRMS, and NRHS. So cool.
We still really need some help from parents of 7th graders for the 8th grade dinner/dance on June 18. Your support as chaperones, decorations, setup, and cleanup, allows this significant event happen for our 8th grade students. Please sign up today. We are looking for Parents of 7th graders to pay it forward and volunteer. Sign Up Genius
Enjoy the weekend.
