Musselman Middle School – Attendance Matters
Students must be in the classroom and in their assigned seat by 7:40 in order to be on time to school.
Late bus or other late arrivals report immediately to the front office.
Tardiness to school: If students arrive late to school, they must have an excuse from a doctor to not be considered tardy. Late buses will be excused.
I understand that there are consequences as a result of continued tardiness, and they are as follows:
3rd Tardy: After School Reteach
4th Tardy: In-Person Parent Conference
5th Tardy: In School Suspension
Failure to attend after school detention will result in an ISS. If a student continues to be tardy, the result will be continual in-school suspensions and social probation, i.e., exclusion from extended day activities, extracurricular activities, class trips, dances, etc.
