Breathe.

In the last few weeks, there has been an avalanche of, well, everything: resources, communications, e-mails, notifications, and all of it is so new. Where do you even start? In education-speak we talk about chunking: breaking down large tasks into more manageable pieces. First, your own well-being. How are you managing your schedule? How are you taking care of yourself? I suggest taking a moment to think about how you have approached this first few weeks and what changes you might consider as we move forward. One mindfulness practice I would like to get back into is journaling. Journaling is a practice that can help you organize your life, remember moments you don't want to forget (like these crazy days), and process information that can be difficult to process. Specifically, I am looking into bullet jouranling. Here are a few links for you to consider if you are interested in bullet journaling as a practice:

Spotlight on: Lots of NEW E-Books!

Publishers have been responding to the need of schools during this pandemic and have offered us (literally) thousands of new e-books. These e-books have all been loaded into your MackinVia accounts. You can access Mackin at mackinvia.com, and through your libguides. You will log in with your Google account. Please see this libguide for video demonstrations of how to access your material. All of the new books are multiuser copies, which means that many of you can be in the books at the same time! As always, please e-mail your librarian with questions.
