Dear Families,
What a wild morning at S.H.E.! Thanks to this incredible community surpassing the $200,000 Husky Fund goal, I made good on my promise and got taped to the wall! What a fun way to celebrate an amazing accomplishment! The PTO shared a fun video of students adding tape on the PTO’s Instagram and Facebook.
This year's campaign raised nearly $211,000, with 100% teacher and staff participation and 70% family participation! I am so grateful for your generosity and the opportunities it makes possible for our students and teachers.
We have an exciting few weeks ahead! Mark your calendars for our Annual Book Character Parade on Friday, October 30 at 8:00 a.m. We can’t wait to see our students bring their favorite book characters to life! The fun continues that evening with our Fall Festival, a wonderful opportunity for our Summit Hill community to come together and celebrate the season.
Next week, we will also celebrate Bus Driver Appreciation Week! Our students will be writing special notes of thanks to recognize the wonderful drivers who help get them to and from school safely each day. We are so grateful for all they do!
The stage will be closed for lunches Monday and Tuesday as we will be decorating for our 4th grade musical. You are always welcome to eat in the Husky courtyard if you would like to have lunch with your child.
Enjoy your weekend!
Stefi
