As part of helping beautify our school grounds, families are welcome to donate and plant any extra flowers or plants they may have at home in the large flower box near the crosswalk.
We would love to continue making our outdoor spaces welcoming and vibrant for our students and community. Thank you for helping us grow something beautiful together!

Growing Green: Stewardship and STEM in Our School Garden
Students have been joyfully caring for our new school garden by watering plants, checking on growth, and helping the space flourish. This hands-on learning opportunity is helping students develop responsibility, teamwork, and an appreciation for God’s creation.
Through our Green STEM initiative and commitment to stewardship, students are learning that even small acts of care can help something beautiful grow. We are excited to continue watching our garden bloom throughout the season!
Assemblée et Pentecost
We are proud of the enthusiasm, curiosity, and growth our students demonstrate each day as they continue to learn, lead, and serve in our school community.
This week, our students continued to grow as learners through a variety of engaging experiences across all subject areas.
- In Literacy, students strengthened their reading comprehension, expanded their French vocabulary, and practised expressing their ideas through speaking and writing.
- In Mathematics, students explored problem-solving strategies, number sense, measurement, and real-world applications of math concepts.
- In Religion, students reflected on God's love, the importance of kindness and service to others, and how we can live out our faith each day.
- In Science, students investigated the natural world through hands-on learning and inquiry-based activities.
- In Social Studies, students explored communities, cultures, and the ways people contribute positively to society.
- Through our Green STEM initiatives, students continued to develop creativity, collaboration, and critical-thinking skills while learning about environmental stewardship and caring for God's creation.
- Students also practised important social-emotional skills, including teamwork, perseverance, problem-solving, and respectful communication.

Warning: Students May Return with Extra Excitement!
Field trip season is officially underway! As our students embark on exciting adventures and learning experiences beyond the classroom, we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the many parents and family members who have volunteered their time to accompany our classes.
Your support helps make these experiences possible and allows our students to explore, discover, and learn in meaningful ways. Whether you were counting heads, tying shoelaces, answering questions, or keeping up with a group of enthusiastic learners, your contribution was greatly appreciated.
At École Père Kenneth Kearns, we are blessed to have such dedicated families who partner with us in creating memorable learning opportunities for our students. Thank you for helping make our field trips safe, successful, and full of wonderful memories. We couldn't do it without you!
