Falcon Tales #4: Week of July 28

This Week's Reading Skill: Identifying Characters and their Feelings
Talking about characters and their feelings helps children connect with stories on a deeper level and build empathy.
Here are a couple of ways you could practice this skill at home with this week's read aloud videos:
-
Ask your child how the characters are feeling at different points in the story. Do their feelings change from the beginning to the end? How so?
-
Ask your child how the characters show their emotions. How do they know? Can they find clues in the text or illustrations?
