π€ PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Happy November, Panther Families!
October was an exciting and engaging month at GEMS! From parent conference nights, progress reports, and sporting events to tutoring, clubs, our Harvest Fair, and Red Ribbon Spirit Weekβit was wonderful to see our students and families so involved in school life.
As we move into November, we have even more to look forward to! This month, weβll be holding a canned food and sock drive, hosting important student presentations (see below for details), and gearing up for our annual Turkey Trot. Weβll also have a special schedule early release week, so please keep an eye out for communication on those details.
As always, thank you for your continued support and involvement. Be sure to follow GEMS on Facebook and Instagram to stay connected and up-to-date.
Go Panthers!

VP CORNER π
Hey Panther Families,
As the school year is now into it's second quarter, we are asking for your support in reminding students about the importance of maintaining appropriate behavior at school. Recently, we have seen an increase in incidents involving students not keeping their hands to themselves, pantsing other students, and displaying inappropriate behavior in the presence of substitute teachers.
Please take a moment to speak with your student about the importance of respecting others and following school rules at all times. These behaviors are taken seriously and may result in disciplinary consequences including detention, exclusion from extra curricular events, or possible suspension from school.
Thank you for your continued partnership in supporting a safe and respectful school environment.

Assistant Principal

Thank you for your attention and support!
MONTHLY PERFECT ATTENDANCE RECOGNITION
We had 140 Students who had perfect attendance for the month of September. These students were acknowledged in their PAW class and received special treat at lunch this last month! To qualify, students must have had no tardies, no absences, and no excused absences (including doctorβs appointments, etc.).
We hope that the number of students that have perfect attendance continue to increase each month. PBIS & our School Counselors will recognize students with perfect attendance monthly.
