This Friday will be our first AM-Only Attendance Day for students. Rutledge Hall and Lincoln Hall will dismiss at 11:05 a.m., and Todd Hall will dismiss at 11:25 a.m. Find all half-day bus route times on the Bus Services page here.

District safety and security is a top priority for everyone on campus. Part of that planning is to maintain ongoing partnerships with Lincolnwood’s Police and Fire Departments. Please click here for information regarding SD74 safety protocols.

Depending on their grade, students may have required medical forms due for the new school year. Per state law, students not in compliance by October 15, 2025 will be unable to attend classes until required health forms are submitted. If you have any questions, please contact your respective building school nurse.

The District plans three classroom parties every year to celebrate Halloween, Winter Break, and Valentine's Day at Todd Hall and Rutledge Hall. Sign-up periods for each party will be as follows:

• Halloween - Sept. 23 at 7 p.m. through Oct. 14 at 11:59 p.m.
• Winter Break - Nov. 11 at 7 p.m. through Dec. 2 at 11:59 p.m.
• Valentine’s Day - Jan. 13 at 7 p.m. through Feb. 3 at 11:59 p.m.

At the end of each sign-up period, the District will create a schedule of coverage for every classroom at both schools, ensuring that those who express interest are assigned to at least one party during the year.

To indicate your interest in volunteering for a Halloween party, complete this form when it opens on Tuesday, Sept. 23 at 7 p.m. The form will close on Tuesday, Oct. 14 at midnight.

Join the fire department for an open house event to celebrate its 35th anniversary! The whole family is invited to enjoy live demonstrations, station tours, and more!

As needed throughout the school year, the District will send text messages with important reminders, event announcements, bus route updates, and emergency notifications. If you are not already receiving District text messages and would like to, please text the word 'YES' to 79041.

Next week, students in all grade levels will participate in safety preparedness drills for evacuation, shelter, and lockdown scenarios.

Families may choose to opt their students out of lockdown drills, which will occur on Sept. 24. To do so, please contact your respective building secretary by Sept. 19.
