Good Afternoon Team,
As we enter Week 2, I want to take a moment to thank you all for such a strong and smooth opening to the school year. Your energy, teamwork, and commitment were evident in every hallway, classroom, and interaction. Our students are off to a great start because of all of YOU!!
Thank you again to everyone who stepped in, stepped up, and supported one another. Special shout out to Ms. Terry-Boyd for creating the lesson plans. Thank you to Ms. Potteiger for the MTSS in-service. Thank you to our teachers with collab this week. Thank you to Ms. McDowell & Mrs. Pitts with getting the chrome books ready. 📌 Be on time and present each day. Consistency is key for both students and colleagues.
📌 Rituals & Routines – This does not stop the first week.
📌 Building Updates – The District will also still be on-site working on camera and the new door security upgrades.
📌 Warm Body Count – Homeroom teachers, please be sure to submit the count daily using the link below by 8am. We should not have to call you to remind you of this.
📌 Sign In/Out – Don’t forget to use the appropriate links each day, see below.
⚠️ Parking Alert: To support bus drivers we will not be able to park against the curb near the driveway. Please park on the field. I am working with the District to get support with new parking.
Please note that we will return to our normal work hours this week. Let’s continue to lead with intention, support one another, and build on the strong foundation we’ve set. The tone we set now will carry us far.
