As we look ahead, the next several weeks are going to fly by. This time of year often feels like it’s moving 100 miles an hour, but I encourage you and your family savor the traditions, and enjoy the memories we’ll make together this season. These next six weeks are filled with so much magic and fun on campus, and I’m grateful to experience it alongside you and your children.

Will you help spread the word to prospective Hardy Owls—and any families interested in joining us—for the 2026–27 school year?

The 2026–27 Choice priority enrollment window opens Monday, Sept. 22, through Saturday, November 15. The Choice Program allows families to apply for schools beyond their neighborhood.

Important Dates

• Choice Application Window: Sept. 22 – Nov. 15, 2025
• Lottery Results Posted: Mid-February 2026

Families applying during the priority window have the best chance to secure one of their top three school choices. Multilingual support is also available through the Family Welcome and Enrollment Center at (619) 260-2410.

Current Hardy students on Choice, who will remain at Hardy, do not need to apply.

If your student is home sick, please notify the front office by phone or by completing the REPORT AN ABSENCE form.

We’ll share exciting updates on Arts and STEAM programming and invite members to help vote on how we’ll invest the funds raised from Jog-a-Thon.

Join us for an afternoon of games, crafts, music, and magical fun for the whole family. Admission and games are free—just bring a few dollars for tickets to enjoy the slide, petting zoo, Shrieking Shack (Haunted House), and yummy eats!

Meals, snacks, and attraction tickets will be sold at the event ($1 per ticket). Pre-sale tickets available this week at drop-off and pick-up through the PTA.

Got a stroller, car seat, or high chair that could use some love?

Destination Baby Co. will be on-site during the Carnival offering professional cleaning services, with 50% of proceeds donated to Hardy PTA!

🧁 Bake or Bring Something Sweet
We’re collecting cakes, cupcakes, cookies, brownies, and other baked treats for the Cake Walk and Bake Sale. Store-bought is fine!
📅 Drop-off: Thurs 11/13 or Fri 11/14 at Hardy
🏆 Sweet Bonus: The class with the most donations wins a Holiday Pizza & Movie Party!
Please label baked goods with your child’s teacher’s name so we can count them toward the class total.
