SHS Graduation Information

May 24 - 40 hour Community Involvement form DUE to Aymee

June 3 - Ontario Universities (OUAC) Offer Response Deadline

June 5 - Grad Breakfast in the cafeteria (graduates only)- 8 am

June 11 - Athletic Banquet - 4 pm Main Gym

June 18 - 19 - Grade 12 Summative Evaluation Days

June 20 - 26 - Summatives and Exams (All students)

June 27 - SHS Graduation 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm - Doors Open at 1 PM.

Parking for graduation is available for those requiring accessibility in the north parking lot directly behind the school. Loughborough Parking Lot is CLOSED due to afternoon busing for the elementary school. Carpooling is encouraged, parking on side streets and at the point is recommended.

• Graduates are expected at 1 PM in the New Gym.
• Wear light clothing, be aware of your choice of footwear (long day and stairs to stage)
• Graduates will receive gowns, v-stole, grad caps (no hats allowed) - no deposit required.
• Graduates will pick up their grad card, join the line in alpha order to be marshalled into gym. You must stay in line.
• You will receive your Graduation Folder on stage. Remember this has many important documents, including your Diploma, an official transcript, and if you are an award winner, there may be a cheque.
• After graduation and pictures, v-stole, and gown must be returned to the new gym. Graduates get to keep their graduation cap.
