UMOJA: Hey, Wildcats! Have you checked out Umoja yet? Umoja is a great opportunity to build connections, explore your cultural identity, express yourself, and grow as a leader! If you're interested in getting involved, stop by the main office to pick up a parent permission form. Don't miss out on the opportunity to connect, grow, and be part of something great! Let's go, Wildcats!
STUDENT COUNCIL: If you want to be a student council representative in our school, now is your chance to join Student Council. Our Student Council is involved in many different things here at school — including planning a Summer Sendoff Dance! To be considered, fill out a student nomination form in the main office. Then, you will give a brief speech addressing your grade level on October 21st. This is an amazing opportunity to be involved in making our school a better place. Student Council Elections are coming up on October 21st! If you’ve ever wanted to help make decisions, plan fun events, represent your classmates, and make BFMS an even better place to be, this is your chance to get involved!
CIS: We are looking for students who want to help improve school attendance, create fun activities, and make Ben Franklin an even better place to be. This is your chance to share ideas, work with other students, and help make Ben Franklin a place everyone wants to be. This group is student-led, student-focused, and OPEN TO EVERYONE! You don’t need perfect attendance or any special experience—just bring your ideas, your voice, and your willingness to make a difference. This group is lead by our amazing Communities in School's Worker (and licensed social worker), Nicole Justesen!
ABLE GAMES: Remember the excitement of last year's ABLE Games competition at Ben Franklin? We're excited to bring that opportunity back!
