A Message from the Principal A Message from the Principal

Hello ECLC Families,

Ms. Tracey, our Administrative Assistant, has been working hard to ensure we have all student registrations completed. If your child's registration is complete, look out for a welcome letter from their teacher next week! Back-to-school season is an exciting time, but it can also bring a few butterflies. Modeling a positive, enthusiastic attitude at home helps your child feel confident, secure, and ready to kick off a great school year!

This newsletter is mostly review. Next week I'll send a detailed newsletter about arrival and dismissal procedures and bus routes.

Respectfully,

Laura

Teacher Placement Letters Teacher Placement Letters

Teacher letters are being mailed and you will receive one next week. If you do not receive one, please call the office. We do need all registration paperwork before you'll receive your teacher placement letter, including any past due preschool balances with the SAU Office.

Breakfast, Lunch and Snacks Breakfast, Lunch and Snacks

We contract with Cafe Services to offer Kindergarten Lunch and Preschool Snack

Kindergarten Lunch: Students may bring lunch from home or buy lunch. We don't have a kitchen here, so all food is prepared at the middle school and brought to the ECLC. You'll receive a menu each month and it's also available online. The cost for lunch is $3.35.

Preschool Snack Pack: Students should bring a snack daily (1-2 food items only) or purchase a SNACK PACK. The Snack Pack includes a yogurt, fruit or vegetable and milk. The cost is $3.35. Blank Order Forms will be sent home the beginning of the year, you can request more if needed. Order Forms MUST be turned in the week PRIOR to the requested meal day.

Snacks: Every child should come to school with a healthy snack daily. Please limit this to 1-2 items only.

You can find more information on the ECLC web page under Café Services or click https://barrington.linqnutrition.com/

Pick Up Patrol Pick Up Patrol

You'll receive a welcome email from PickUp Patrol closer to the start of school. It is the platform we use for absences, early dismissals and late arrivals. Please set up an account and enter your students' Default Plan (car rider, bus rider, REC aftercare, etc.)

Bus Routes and Rules Bus Routes and Rules

Preschool: Some students qualify to ride the bus in preschool. The bus company will call you with pick up times before school begins.

Kindergarten: Bus routes will be finalized and provided before school starts. Kindergarten students are seated at the front of the bus. Below are some good rules to discuss with your student. There will be a bus at the Meet and Greet for families to ride on, so that students get an idea of riding the bus before the first day of school.
