Our Code Respond on Thursday went well. All students followed the directions of our staff.

Clean hands help keep germs away! Remember to wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially before eating, after using the restroom and after playing outside.

A little handwashing goes a long way toward keeping our school healthy!

International Dot Day is a global celebration of creativity, courage and collaboration held every September 15. What better way to celebrate this day than to use Mrs. Allen's Innovation Lab classes to promote STEM activities centered on those traits! In Kindergarten, students conducted a science experiment from prediction to observation where they watched their colored marker dots become beautiful works of art. In First Grade, students put their imagination to the test as they randomly placed dot stickers on construction paper to then turn them into an object of their own creation. Finally, in Second Grade, students were challenged to either build the tallest tower or construct a ramp/slide for a marble to travel down using only a specific number of index cards and dot stickers. Take time to talk with your children about their creations this week and at least one takeaway from the lessons. We have such beautiful minds at MRP!

We can't wait for our new, beautiful building to be finished. Our staff & students are SO EXCITED to move in. There is a building update provided during each BCS board meeting and Projected Substantial Completion is Oct. 22. We hope to be able to share some pictures next week following this week's BOE meeting.

All students need a completed online emergency card every year. Thanks to everyone who has already submitted one! We're still missing several. If you haven't filled one out for your child(ren), do it today!

If your child misses school, please send a note within 48 hours so it can be coded correctly!
