CNA CLASS
Pictured here is our very first Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) cohort of the school year! We are off to an outstanding start as these dedicated students begin preparing for their clinical rotations. On track to earn their official CNA certifications by the end of the trimester, we couldn't be prouder of their incredible dedication and hard work.
BLOOD DRIVE
We are thrilled to announce the success of our first blood drive of the school year! To expand our impact, we have increased our schedule to three drives per year. This expansion allows us to qualify for a Red Cross scholarship awarded to the dedicated HOSA students who organize and manage these events. Additionally, hosting three drives gives our seniors the chance to earn Red Cross graduation cords by donating blood three times during their senior year—an honor achieved by a fantastic group of seniors last year. Mark your calendars for our next blood drive on January 7, 2027, and help us continue making a difference!
COLLEGE APPLICATIONS
October is College Application Month!
We are excited to help our seniors take the next step toward life after high school!
College Application Days will be held October 14 and October 20. During this time, we will work with seniors to:
Apply to one or two Idaho colleges they are interested in attending.
Learn more about college options and the application process.
Apply for the Idaho LAUNCH or Idaho Opportunity Scholarship.
Get help and support as they complete their applications.
What Happens After You Apply?
Submitting a college application is just the first step. After applying, seniors will need to:
Send their high school transcript to each college they applied to.
Check their email regularly for messages from each college.
Follow any additional instructions from the college to complete the admissions process.
Watch for deadlines and make sure all required information is submitted.
It is important to complete these steps as soon as possible. Students need to be accepted to their college before certain scholarship deadlines, so don't wait to finish the admissions process.
Our goal is to help make the college application process less overwhelming and help every senior explore the opportunities available to them after graduation.
Seniors, October is the time to get started!
