December Spirit Week Fun
Thank you to everyone that participated in our December Spirit week! We saw some fantastic Christmas pajamas, hats, sweaters and winter sports outfits!
Front Bus Loop Access Reminders
We have noticed an increase in families dropping off students in the front bus loop. Please keep in mind that this area is for buses and pre-approved ADA access ONLY. If you feel you have a need that falls under ADA, please call our front office to make arrangements. Students with IEP's and 504 plans do not automatically fall under ADA.
Traffic reminders:
- Non-bus students will be released from school to the east and south pick-up locations
- Do not park, wait, or allow your student to get into a vehicle along Mesa Road. It is illegal and a significant safety hazard.
- Do not park and wait for your student on Friendship Lane or Crescent Lane. Student pick-up in that neighborhood can be at Pioneer Park only. Police may enforce complaints from Homeowners on those streets if they are called.
- Only Buses will be permitted to use the Bus Loop in the front of the school, exceptions are made for ADA and medical reasons.
- Vehicles entering the South Lot should plan to enter using a right turn in order to not halt traffic on Mesa Road.
- Do not stop the flow of traffic in the South Lot by waiting for your child in the driving lanes between parked cars.
- All non-bus students will be kept clear of the Bus Loop area in order to prevent students crossing Mesa Road outside the designated cross-walk.
- Students should only be picked-up at the South Lot, or Mesa Valley Trail Lot.
- See attached map as a reference for traffic flow.
