Shining Brighter, Growing Stronger!
Hello Main Street Family,
Thank you to everyone who was able to attend last night’s Back-to-School Night. It was such a pleasure meeting you, and I look forward to connecting with more of you in the near future!
Our students have begun completing assessments that will help us determine their instructional needs. Please encourage your child to take their time and do their best. We are so proud of how hard our scholars have been working! They have already mastered their daily routines and will continue completing assessments this week.
As a reminder, please ensure your child arrives to school on time each day and avoid early dismissals whenever possible. Late arrivals and early dismissals take away valuable instructional time, which can ultimately impact student achievement. Together, we want to set every child up for success!
💧 Water Bottles:
Please send your child with a refillable water bottle each day. We do not have water fountains in the building, but students are able to refill bottles as needed.
📸 Picture Day is Monday!
All students will be photographed. If you would like to purchase pictures, please be sure to send in the exact cash amount, as we cannot provide change.
🚗 Morning Carline Safety Reminder:
When dropping students off, please refrain from making U-turns or passing cars during drop-off. Thank you for helping us keep everyone safe!
📅 School Closure:
School will be closed on Tuesday, September 23rd in observance of Rosh Hashanah.
The entire Main Street staff and I are committed to supporting your children’s success. Together, we will make this year one filled with learning, joy, and growth!
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend!
With gratitude,
Ms. Darnell Medley
Principal
