Mr. Doyle's Message
Good evening Creekside families,
First off, a HUGE thank you to everyone who made it to our Fall Parent-Teacher Conferences! Seriously, the teamwork between home and school is what truly makes a difference in your student's success, and we appreciate you being on the team!
Quarter 1 officially wraps up this Tuesday! A new quarter means a clean slate and a fresh start in every single class—it’s the perfect time for positive changes and new opportunities!
On Friday, during Skills Lab, teachers will be guiding students through an end-of-quarter reflection. Even better, they'll be helping students set a focused SMART goal for Quarter 2.
Please take a moment this week to chat with your child about their first quarter. Ask them about their biggest wins and the one or two things they’re excited to improve upon next quarter.
Remember, even though the formal conferences are over, we are always here! If you need anything, please never hesitate to reach out to any of our amazing staff.
Thanks for your fantastic support. Enjoy that long weekend!
Enthusiastically,
Ryan
Veterans Breakfast!
Creekside Middle School and Prairiewood Elementary School will be hosting our 4th Annual Bring Your Vet to Breakfast on Tuesday, November 10th from 7:30am to 8:15am. Students and their veteran family members are invited for a special opportunity to have breakfast and give thanks for their service compliments of Creekside and Prairiewood. Please use the link below to let us know how many people will be joining. We ask that you RSVP by Friday, October 23rd. If you have any questions, please reach out to the Creekside office at 815-337-5200.
In addition to the breakfast celebration, we are supporting DAV's Field of Flags which empowers our community to setup fields of American flags, all to honor local veterans and raise critical funds to support our ill and injured heroes. Join us in honoring our community's veterans.
Cash donations can be dropped of during In Person at Creekside or CLICK HERE to donate online. Donate at least $50 and your name (or veteran's name) will be displayed and read at our Veteran's Day breakfast.
Thank you for your support and we look forward to another great event!
A Note from Mr. Nickolas
Hello Falcon Families!
Thank you to everyone who attended Parent-Teacher Conferences! Please remember you don't have to wait for conferences to connect with us. If you ever have questions about assignments, grades, or your child's progress, feel free to reach out anytime. Communication is key to supporting our students' success. I would even suggest working with your child(ren) about how to email the teacher to ask for help. Sending emails outside of school is a great way to let the teachers know you need help, and not having to worry about remembering until the next day.
Have a great long weekend, if you’re traveling, safe travels. If you’re staying in the area, enjoy the nice weather.
Mr. Nickolas
