Red Ribbon Week Spirit Week
Halloween Costume Guidelines
Next Friday10/30/26 (Minimum day) students are welcome to take part in the festivities. As a reminder, the school dress code does apply and will be enforced. Costumes should be appropriate for the season. In years past we have noticed costumes to be excessively revealing and inappropriate for the environment and/or age. In order to avoid problems, Lancers should use the following guidelines:
No weapons, real or fake.
Skirts/shorts must be appropriate length (see dress code)
Tops must not be revealing or expose cleavage.
Morph suits and any kind of body suits are not allowed.
Masks are not allowed to be worn on campus ( only can be worn during costume contest)- we must be able to see the face of our NPAA students.
Students must wear closed toe shoes/ No slippers.
No costumes that depict gangs or any type of drug reference
These items are in no way a complete list. They serve only as a guideline. School staff shall be the final judge on the appropriateness of any costume. Any costume deemed inappropriate by school staff will result in the student having to change into PE clothes- Phone calls will not be made home.

educational purposes. The school is not responsible for damaged, lost, or stolen devices.

Bicycles and Skateboards
Bicycles and Skateboards
Bicycles and skateboards must be stored in the racks near the main entrance in front of the 500 building. They may be ridden to and from school, but not on campus at any time. California law requires bicycle riders to wear helmets. Students should use a good lock and chain to secure their bike/skateboard. The school is not responsible for bikes or skateboards if they are damaged or stolen. Students are allowed in the rack area only to put/pick up their bikes/boards. Once the student locks their bike or board, they must leave the rack area immediately.
