St Anthony's School News

Week 5 - Thursday 5th March 2026
St Anthony's School community works collaboratively to teach and live the values of Christ. While respecting tradition, and to meet the demands of a rapidly changing society, it strives to educate our children to their full potential.
🥜Allergy Aware School🥜
We would like to remind families that St Anthony's is an allergy aware school. Therefore, for the health and safety of children and staff with allergies, peanut butter, Nutella, nuts and muesli bars containing nuts are not to be included in your child’s lunch.
Principal's Message
Loving God,
Help us embrace the Lenten call to simplicity;
Free our hearts from distraction, our minds from worry,
And our spirits from anything that keeps us
from fully trusting in your providence.
May this Lenten season soften our hearts
So that we may listen more attentively, forgive more readily
And act with greater tenderness and justice.
We ask this in the name of Jesus,
Who journeys with us this Lent and always. Amen
Every member of our community must be a model to our children in the words we speak and in our actions, especially in the respectful way we work through disagreements. Respect is a two-way street.
For further information please refer to our Code of Conduct which is applicable to staff, students, parents and the wider community:
St-Anthonys-School-Code-of-Conduct.pdf and our St Anthony’s Way posters in classrooms and around the school.
Upcoming Dates
Being Sun Safe at St Anthony's
All staff and students are to wear broad-brimmed hats when outdoors. On hot days, students are encouraged to seek shade, drink plenty of water and run around less particularly in the middle of the day.
Children should come to school with sunscreen already applied before they leave home. Sun screen is available in all classroom for students and staff to ‘top up’ their sun screen as needed. Children are reminded of their before they leave classrooms for recess and lunch.
God Bless

Thank You!
We would like to sincerely thank our P&F for their generous donation towards the purchase of a new golf buggy for our groundskeeper. This practical addition will make a significant difference to the day-to-day care and maintenance of our school grounds, allowing tasks to be completed more efficiently and safely. The ongoing support of our P&F continues to enhance our school environment in meaningful ways, and we are very grateful for their commitment to our community.
