To establish safer and healthier learning environments and to prevent and respond to acts of bullying, violence, and hate that impact our school communities at individual and systemic levels, among other programs and activities.

The Teacher/Staff data is in! It is encouraging to see such a positive relationship between school leaders and staff/faculty. There is still room to grow, however we love the positive relationships developing in our Colectivo!

How are we striving to improve? We heard from our families on the two biggest concerns:

1. Safety of our Scholars (Particularly around Bullying)
2. Drug Use (particularly vapes) at our schools.

The data is in and over 60% of our families have reported that these are their two main concerns. So, what are we going to do? Our campuses are working in a concerted effort to combat these serious issues in our district. We are:

• Holding information seminars during our Accelerated Learning/Advisory/House periods to deliver the facts to scholars.
• We are connecting with outside agencies to stress the consequences of vaping, not just health but legal.
• All scholars that are found with a vape do not only get a standard punishment, but must also complete an online course which is tracked by our counselors to ensure completion. The course focuses on the dangers of vaping, what vapes contain, etc.
• We are also going to continue sending out bi-weekly surveys (we use the primary email contact, so be sure it's up-to-date!) to gather your input. Our next survey will ask for your suggestions on ways we can improve.
