A MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL

Hello Montessori Families!

This week we had the pleasure of hosting our Spring Band, Orchestra and Choir concert! The students put on a wonderful performance, and have grown so much over the course of the school year. In addition to the hard work of the students, I'd like to shout out Mr. Burmeister, Mr. Bregant and Ms. Thompson. They work hard to ensure all students who are interested are able to participate and grow as musicians during their time here! Thanks to our music team for building such strong musicians!

Next week is our last PTSA meeting of the school year! Please join us on Tuesday, May 19th at 7pm in Room 30! We are an amazing school community and our parents are a huge part of that! Thank you to the PTSA for leading Teacher Appreciation Week plans and thank you to all parents who showered us with love (and food!)! We had a wonderful week!

Please note, the next two weeks are 4 day weeks. We hope you have a lovely Memorial Day weekend with your family!

PTSA CORNER

Thank you to all that helped us celebrate the entire staff at WMS last week during our 80's themed Teacher Appreciation Week! We celebrated with door decorations, chair massages, a trail mix bar, gift bags with the staff's favorite drinks, raffle prizes, floral arrangements, card making and more.

Firefly Grove Park Meetup: Friday, May 15, 5:30-7 p.m.

Weather pending, meet up with other WMS families at Firefly Grove Park (1900 N. 116th St.) let the kids play on the playground, explore and hang out at the pump track. Lemonade and snacks will be provided.

Final PTSA Meeting: Tuesday, May 19, 7-8:30 p.m.

Join us in-person or via Zoom for our last PTSA meeting of the school year! We'll reflect on the year, celebrate achievements and ways to improve for next year. In-person can enter through the gym doors and meet in Room 30 (AP Room).

Fresh Hot Popcorn every Tuesday

We will once again have the opportunity to order popcorn on Tuesdays. The price is $.75 per bag. Students order it on Tuesday morning and the Next Steps crew make the popcorn and deliver it same day. So yummy!
