Congratulations to both Kalamazoo Central & Loy Norrix Marching Bands for receiving Division "I" Superior ratings at MSBOA Marching Festival this year - the highest possible rating awarded at an MSBOA Festival!
Hillside, Linden Grove, Maple Street, and Milwood Middle School choirs, along with the Kalamazoo Central and Loy Norrix High School choirs, performed their annual Choral Fall Fest at Chenery Auditorium. All of the piano accompanists are KPS students who are part of the "Collaborative Performance" program sponsored by Fontana.
The Maple Street and Milwood MS Orchestras joined the Loy Norrix HS Orchestra for a fall performance, complete with a combined performance at the end of the program.
The Hillside MS Orchestra joined the Kalamazoo Central Orchestra for their annual Halloween concert, costumes and all!
Hillside & Linden Grove Students Join the KC Band!
Hillside & Linden Grove 7th & 8th Grade band students, along with members of the KC High School Beginning Band class, joined the Marching Giants to experience what it is like to be a member of the marching band.
Seven of our Middle School Band Students were accepted into the MSBOA District XI Middle School Honor Band and will perform with other selected middle school band students from across our MSBOA District in the greater Kalamazoo area. They will perform at Marshall High School on Tuesday, November 5th at 7:00pm.
