Mrs. Seckinger spent a lot of time with Ms. Kramer over the summer preparing her for Gayman life and I know she will do a great job here!
Final class assignments will be announced on August 4th via the Parent Portal.
Class Placement:
In the summer months, student placement is finalized. Know that considerable time and attention went into creating well-balanced class groupings that consider the social, academic, and emotional needs of all students. The process began with parent input, and then, former homeroom teachers, along with our counselor, reading specialist, and special education teachers developed class lists.
As you know, all of our teachers are caring, capable, and highly qualified educators. Our job is to support our students by developing confident, capable individuals. I ask you to trust the process and celebrate your child's placement with your son/daughter.
On Monday, August 4th the 2025-2026 class lists will be announced via the Parent Portal. Once the class assignments are posted, you will be hearing from your child's classroom teacher!
We look forward to the excitement that a new school year brings!

*Each year, all families are required to review and update information on their student(s) in our database. This annual update is critical for the dispensing of medication, reaching you in emergencies and urgent situations, and receiving important communications from CBSD and your school(s).
Updating your information is also required before you will be able to access student schedules and busing information when these details become available.
To complete this process, log in at www.cbsd.org/parentportal. Once signed in, select "More" from the menu then "Annual Student Information Update."
If you need help, you can contact Lori Rebstock at lrebstock@cbsd.org or 267-893-5714. You can also contact parentportal@cbsd.org.
Transportation Information:
On Monday, August 18th, "Find My Bus" will be available in the Parent Portal. Click here for more information about Transportation.
The Transportation tab in your Parent Portal Account will list your child(ren)'s bus number, as well as pick up/drop off times & location.
Your child may ride only the bus to which he/she has been assigned unless an Alternate Bus Stop Request has been approved. The Central Bucks Transportation Department may approve requests for childcare or shared custody situations. A form must be submitted every year: Alternate Bus Stop Request.
School Supplies:
2025-2026 Supply lists are up on our website. Click Here to find the supply list for your grade.
Supplies can be brought to school during our Open House on August 28th.
Required Health Exams:
Pennsylvania mandates the following health examinations:
- Physicals: School entry (Kindergarten), grades 6 and 11
- Dentals: School entry (Kindergarten), grades 3 and 7
The completed health forms are due to Mrs. Sara Hedges, school nurse, no later than October 17, 2025.
You can upload your completed exam forms to your child's Parent Portal account or email them to shedges@cbsd.org. Please keep a copy of the health forms for your records. Thank you!
The examination forms can be found HERE.
Before and After School Care for 2025-2026:
The district welcomes CB families in need of before and/or after school childcare provided by Central Bucks School District to register in the program now for the 2025-26 school year.
- Families who are returning to the program should register here.
- Families who are new to the program should register here.
The school-based CBSD Before and After School Childcare Program is a natural extension of the school day that benefits families and the community by providing a safe, nurturing space for children to grow socially and emotionally while having fun. If you have any questions, you can contact CBSD School Age Childcare Program Coordinator Dana Hahn at dahahn@cbsd.org.
Volunteering Information:
To volunteer at a class party or chaperone a field trip, your clearances must be up-to-date & on file with Central Bucks School District.
If your clearances are current, upload them into the RAPTOR - Volunteer Tracker. If your clearances have expired, or you need to begin the clearance process, click on the Required Documents for the directions. For more information, consult the Human Resources Volunteer Required Paperwork webpage.
**We no longer have access to App Garden. All clearances approved through that system are null and void. The only way we can track clearances now is through RAPTOR.**
Changes to MySchoolBucks Fees & Meal Payment Limit:
Earlier this summer, the district received information from MySchoolBucks (MSB), our meal payment service, regarding upcoming pricing adjustments.
Beginning August 1, 2025, the fee for credit/debit card payments will increase to $3.50 per transaction from $3.25. Additionally, the maximum meal payment limit will increase to $150 per transaction. According to MSB, the increase is being implemented to help cover rising operational costs and to continue offering a secure and user-friendly online payment experience.
MySchoolBucks plans to send an email to families who have automatic meal payments set up through MSB by July 21st. Parents and guardians can begin adding funds to their CBSD MSB account for the 2025-26 school year beginning August 1st. As a reminder, parents and guardians can also send in a check with their student(s) that can be given to a cafeteria cashier. The e-check fee will remain the same.
If you have any questions, please contact MSB Admin Support at 1-800-803-6755.

Gayman Home and School Association
Kindness Counts Club 2025-2026:
We’re looking forward to another school year of serving our community and creating a ripple effect of kindness at Gayman and beyond!
KCC will look a little different this year, to ensure all club members are having the kind of experience they deserve, and to widen the scope of projects and activities:
- There will be a KCC for grades K through 2nd (primary), and a KCC for 3rd through 6th (intermediate). The Intermediate KCC will meet monthly; the primary KCC will meet bi-monthly, separate from the intermediate group. This will allow more age-appropriate projects as well as more space in the library during meetings.
- Students who wish to join KCC in grades 3rd through 6th will need to apply. The application process will not be complicated or time-consuming; it will simply allow students (and parents) to reflect on whether KCC is something they want to commit to for the school year. Additional information will be included in the August issue of the Gazette and applications will be available the first week of school.
If you have any questions in the meantime, please contact Megan Monforte at meganmonforte9@gmail.com.
