Dear Rocket Families,
I hope you and your families enjoyed our snow day last Friday!! We will operate on a TWO HOUR DELAY TOMORROW, Tuesday, January 14. This means our carline will start at 9 AM. If you child rides a bus add two hours to their normal pick-up time. For instance, if normal pickup is at 6:15 it will now be 8:15.
Please don't forget to send me or Ms. Oliver some of your snow pictures so we can post them to our website!!!! Please ensure you have students return their BLUE packets for the Remote Work from Friday and their RED packets for remote work from today. We will need returned work in order to count your child present.
Please note that there will be no school for both students and staff next Monday, January 20, due to the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday.
The 5th grade will be taking PRE-ORDERS for the items listed on the attached flyer for their BEAR-Y-LOVELY VALENTINE SALE! Pre-orders will be accepted through this Friday, January 17. Please ensure you pre-order and send in payment by Friday to GUARANTEE items for your child. Funds raised will be used to assist with the end of the year 5th grade school trip!
In looking ahead, Carolina Photography will be at Rutherfordton Elementary School to photograph CLASS GROUP pictures on Friday, January 24. If you would like to order pictures, please return the order form that will be sent home NEXT WEEK and payment with your student on picture day.
Or for your convenience, you may prepay for pictures online by going to www.carolinaphoto.net and entering JOB KEY C97RX26Q. The online prepay will be available through the day of pictures.
