Hello everyone! I hope that you are having an amazing summer! We are working hard to get MES ready for the new school year! There will be a lot of information heading your way over the next few weeks. Please check your email often!

This year we will once again be using the PowerSchool Parent Portal to provide important information regarding your student. On Friday, August 9th at Noon, the PowerSchool Parent Portal will reopen and your child's teacher assignment will be posted under Student Reports. Student Reports can only be opened in a web browser, not on the PowerSchool app.

• August 9th: Teacher assignments available via Parent Portal
• August 21st: Kindergarten Meet and Greet! 12pm
  
• August 21st: New Student Orientation! 1:30pm
• August 27th: First Day of School!!
• September 4th: Back to School Ice Cream Social! (Rain date 9/5)
• September 12th: Picture Day

If anybody would like to get a jump on school supply shopping, here are the lists!

As we approach the beginning of the school year, here are the

2023-24 arrival and dismissal times.

● Student drop-off will start at 8:50am.

*This is 10 minutes earlier than last year. Please take note!

The School day begins at 9:00am.

● Parent pick-up will start around 3:25 PM

Arrival Drop-Off and Dismissal Pick-up will both operate similarly in terms of the traffic flow

School Dismissal Manager

The district will continue to use "School Dismissal Manager" for all elementary schools. This will give you the ability to enter your child’s dismissal information. If your child is only taking the bus, you do not need to do anything although it is a good idea to start an account for your student(s) in the event that you need to access it.
