Oakland-Craig Jr./Sr. High School
November 2026
Princpal's Message | Mr. Steinhoff
As we enter November, the first quarter is behind us, and the school year is moving quickly! It’s been great to see our students working hard in the classroom and representing Oakland-Craig through their involvement in activities and organizations.
Thank you to all the parents and guardians who attended Parent-Teacher Conferences. These conversations provide a valuable opportunity to recognize student successes and identify areas for continued growth. As we move through the second quarter, I encourage families to stay informed about their student’s academic progress and reach out to teachers with any questions or concerns. Strong communication between home and school is an important part of helping our students succeed.
As we approach Thanksgiving, I want to express my appreciation for our students, staff, families, and community. We are fortunate to have such a supportive school community here at Oakland-Craig. Looking forward to a great second quarter.

● COLLEGE VISITS & JOB SHADOWING
Plan ahead and follow Oakland-Craig procedures. Discuss college, career, or military visits with your family. Schedule campus visits through the college website and provide confirmation and guardian approval to Mrs. Magnusson.
Sophomores, juniors & seniors: one job-shadow day per year. Juniors: two college-visit days per year. Seniors: two college-visit days per semester.
● ACT: PLAN AHEAD
All juniors will take the ACT at school on March 23, 2027. Testing earlier allows time for retakes, reduces senior-year stress, and helps identify areas for practice.
