The FINAL Wang Eagle & Wang weekly

Building a Better Normal Together...

I am combining our weekly parent and staff newsletters to let everyone know that I am so appreciative that you all let me be your principal for the past 8 years. Working at this school through the pandemic and rebuilding after is something that will always be a cherished memory for me in my life. Wang School was the beacon that led this district through those times and it was because of the work of the staff in the building and the amazing support from our parents. Those were some of the most challenging years of my professional life, but because of you all (staff and parents), I will look back on them fondly because it was a time we ALL came together to support our kids.

That is what we need to keep doing...working together to support our kids. If you all do that, then the next principal will be as lucky as I was in leading an amazing school community and Wang School will CONTINUE to be the beacon that leads this district.

I am excited for my next adventure and I am excited to take on a new challenge, but I will miss being a part of this amazing community every day. I can't wait to hear the amazing stories of what you all will be doing in the future!

I hope our paths cross again, but I think the final scene from one of my favorite movies (Labyrinth) in the video below sums up this moment well...we may be parting ways, but should you ever need me...all you have to do is reach out!

Love to everyone...and thank you for an amazing 8 years!
