Registration for the 26-27 School Year is Open!
Being All in Aledo isn’t just a commitment - it’s a way of life
At Aledo ISD, we are Growing Greatness by creating exceptional experiences for our students to find what they love! We don’t just educate - we empower every Bearcat to discover their unique path and thrive. We're ready to continue that journey together next year, and registration for the 2026-2027 school year is now open! Registration is an online process; click the link below for more information.
We urge you to get your registration complete as soon as possible because it helps us with staffing and planning for next school year!
Registering NOW helps ensure that your child’s spot at their zoned school is guaranteed since we are currently working on staffing. Your registration now also helps secure your child’s course selections for middle and high school and elementary teacher assignments. Our counselors and admin teams are currently working on scheduling for next year.
Because of this, we ask that you register your student by Friday, May 1!
Does your student want to keep their district-issued Chromebook during the summer? READ BELOW!
This information is for incoming 7th- through 12th-grade students only! Incoming 6th graders will have opportunities to get their district-issued device later in the summer; stay tuned for more information!
We will continue to have a Device Protection Plan (DPP) that students must pay for in order to check out a district-issued Chromebook for the school year. DPP charges will be paid through MySchoolBucks; you will see an option in the Store portion of MySchoolBucks to pay the 2026-2027 Device Protection Program fee beginning on Tuesday, April 7, 2026.
Just as we did last year, if you pay for the DPP for the 2026-2027 school year by the end of the day on Sunday, May 10, 2026, your student may keep their district-issued Chromebook over the summer and keep that same Chromebook for the 2026-2027 school year. Please note that all filtering and restrictions on our district-issued Chromebooks will stay in place over the summer, even if you take the Chromebook out of district.
The DPP is $27, and this covers unlimited breakage on the Chromebook; the charger is not covered.
Join Us April 21 for Committed to the Cats!
Committed to the Cats is a one-of-a-kind Pre-K and Kindergarten special event designed to celebrate the start of each child’s educational journey. Inspired by university signing days, this special event gives families of incoming Aledo ISD kinder and Pre-K students the opportunity to prepare their students for the 2026-27 school year in an exciting and welcoming atmosphere. Attendees can meet their future teachers, explore available student resources, and connect with community partners who support their child’s success. Join us as we officially welcome the next generation of Bearcats!
Please register for the 26-27 school year before this event to make your check-in process quick and easy! We will also have registration specialists available to help you complete your registration at the event.

Bearcat & Ladycat Tennis Dominate at District!
The Aledo Bearcat Tennis team put together a dominant performance at the district tournament at Richland Tennis Center, competing with focus, toughness and consistency from start to finish. Every entry picked up at least one win on day one, with 13 of 16 players advancing to day two. From there, the momentum only grew as the Bearcats won nearly every matchup against outside competition, placed entries in every final, and even faced off against teammates in two championship matches.
