Coaches Message

Greenville Splash was proud to teach 60 adults in our community how to swim in our 2025 Adult Learn to Swim program! These awesome volunteers made it happen: Katie Broussard, Michelle Carpenter, Noah Cignarale, Beth Cox, Rebekah Craig, Kacky Elliott, Jean Ference, Chris Gibbs, Calvin Hazel, Athena Jones, Diana McCoy, Melinda Menzer, Michelle Miller, Carolyn Moore, Beth Nease, Leslie Scott, Janine Serell, and Maureen White. Greenville Splash provided free lessons for adults in our community during the month of April at the Greenville County Aquatic Complex. It was such a rich and rewarding experience to teach adults that have never had the opportunity to learn to swim before. So many of them overcame their fears and learned a lifesaving skill. The participants were so proud that they will now be able to swim with their families at the pool this summer.

New team swag is here! Make sure you have picked yours up at the pool. If you haven't received it, let Coach Leslie know by sending an email.

New swim meets may be on the horizon! Charlotte Masters are working on hosting a Short Course Meters meet in October and Columbia Masters is looking into hosting a Long Course Meters Meet at the USC pool on August 9. More information is coming soon.

Send Leslie results and pictures of your events for our next newsletter. Feel free to email Coach Leslie at greenvillesplash@gmail.com or give me a call if you need any help with anything: 864-283-1328.

For anyone who wants to help fundraise additional funds I have also created a Greenville Splash donation drive with a target of $500. That link can found below:

This organization is very dear to me. In 2011 I lost my uncle Rich at the very young age of 43 to this disease. After his death his wife created this organization in the hopes that no other young families would have to suffer the same terrible fate. My husband Chris and I now sit on the board of this organization and strive to continue the mission of education and screening awareness. We greatly appreciate any participation and are looking forward to Greenville Splash's involvement!

Time to Swim 4 the buns!!

THANK YOU!!
