Holiday Parade

It's been a great week of touring our elementary and middle schools, sharing holiday cheer with the district's K-8 students! We continue the holidays with a parade rehearsal after school tomorrow. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone there!

Dress & Decorations:

We will be in uniform. Students should bring a SANTA HAT and LONG BLACK SOCKS. They should decorate their instruments with string lights, bows, ribbons, wrapping paper, or anything else they can think of! Top three decorated instruments will win a small prize.

We will be making weather calls day-by-day around our participation in the Holiday Parade. There are a few possible outcomes, and I'd like to share them with you now rather than waitin/sharing at the last moment

Possible weather outcomes:

• Saturday Parade - Step off 2pm. Call time noon (at HHS).
• Rain Date Sunday Parade - Step off 2pm. Call time noon (at HHS).
• Mist but parade goes on - Same info as above. Brass and percussion play. WWs just march.
• Drizzle/Rain but parade goes on - Band does not participate.
• Parade is canceled - The band is sad!

As soon as the City of Germantown/Parks makes a call, we will follow as quickly as possible with a band decision and communicate it with you. Here's hoping Sunday clears up. Saturday is looking like a bit of a lost cause, but we will see! Let's hope for a holiday miracle!!
