We are FULL STEAM AHEAD with our Focus on Tier I Instruction and Interventions in Bear Country. Please continue to work with your child by:

• Reading Daily
• Practicing Math Fluency
• Utilizing our online resources: iReady, RedBird/ALEKS, and iReady Fluency Flight

While we are working to show Proficiency and GROWth of upcoming State Assessment, our push doesn't stop there. We want to keep this momentum going long past assessments and into real-world application. Keep up the Great Work!

Students will have access to the Book Fair during the school day.

All students will have FULL ACCESS to apps in their Clever Dashboard: iReady, ALEKS, RedBird, etc. until the end of July. Please take full advantage of this learning opportunity over those couple of months.

We are excited to announce that Field Day is coming to Bear Country! Please help us ensure your child wears light-weight clothes and tennis shoes on their designated day. We will be providing water and gatorade, but we encourage everyone to bring a water bottle too. If you are interested in volunteering for this event, please reach out to Mr. Moultrie @ jmoultrie@my.putnamschools.org

Here is our schedule for upcoming Field Day 2026:

Come join us for a Fun, Uplifting Night in Bear Country. We will have an Art Walk, Glow-in-the-Dark Games, and a chance to visit the BOGO Bookfair before we jump into Summer.

Admission is FREE - Snacks/Drinks are FREE - Bring $ for Bookfair purchases

Please help our bears check their bedrooms and backpacks

for any library books that need to be returned for inventory.

* We have made a large purchase of more books to restock our Media Center with more relevant and updated reading options & we're excited to announce they're on the way to Bear Country!

Once they arrive, be on the lookout for some Summer Media Days to come and get a sneak peak!*

Congratulations to our Class of 2032!

We will be celebrating the promotion of our 6th graders to their next chapter in the Junior-Senior High School and beyond at the end of this month. We are so proud of all of their accomplishments and can't wait to see them continue to GROW!

Our 6th graders will join in the procession as we welcome previous Bears to participate in their Senior Walk immediately following our Promotion Ceremony. Families are welcome to join in the Celebrations.
