WEEK 19
Week 19 (January 6 - 10)
Greetings World Class Parents/Guardians,
On a personal note, I want to express my sincere gratitude for your incredible support, thoughtful birthday wishes, and the holiday cards, gifts, and treats. Your kindness and generosity mean so much to me, and I am truly thankful for being part of such a supportive and caring school community. Thank you for all you do to make Hawthorne a special place for our students and staff.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
Thank you for making our first semester so incredible! Your support has been phenomenal, and we look forward to building on this success 2nd semester.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who took the time to share their valuable reflections with us. Your feedback will be carefully reviewed. Rest assured, we are committed to using your insights to make meaningful improvements, and we hope you will see the positive changes reflected in this semesterβs experience. Your voice truly matters, and we are dedicated to ensuring your feedback leads to real progress.
A gentle but firm reminder about the importance of consistent attendance. It is absolutely critical that your child is present every school day, on time, unless they are genuinely ill. Students should not miss more than 18 days in a school year. Last year, our overall attendance rate was 93%, but our goal for this year is 95%. We canβt reach this goal without your support! Daily attendance directly impacts academic success, and it is essential that students arrive before 7:45 AM to ensure that the learning environment remains uninterrupted for everyone. If you have recently moved, please notify the school immediately so we can keep your records current.
Furthermore, I ask that all families take a moment to review our shared safety responsibilities. It is essential for the safety of our entire community that everyone adheres to the guidance of our staff during carpool hours. Following the direction of our AM and PM duty personnel is critical in ensuring the safety of all students and staff.
Please see the links below for additional information and support. We are excited to see both families and students actively engaged as we continue working together toward success!
Thank you, as always, for entrusting us with the privilege of educating and nurturing your children. We look forward to a fantastic 2nd Semester!
Proud to Serve,
-Principal Henley
