Saint Peter School Newsletter
May 22, 2026
Picture of the week: we had a FANTASTIC field day today with great weather, enthusiastic students and SO MANY great parent volunteers. Special thanks to Mr. Schell for making it all possible, and to all the teachers for helping the students have such a great time!
Thank you, Mr. Schell, for organizing such a great field day!
MAP Testing
We are happy to report that Saint Peter School's spring MAP achievement overview scores in math, reading, and language have increased in percentile terms! Our school continues to build on our academic success. We are thankful for the continuous support of our teachers and families at home! The MAP test scores went home yesterday, please check your child's backpack if you have not received the paperwork.
Harvard Commencement
Please keep in mind Harvard Commencement is Thursday, May 28, 2026. This being said, you may experience traffic delays and road closures. Plan to give yourself plenty of time for morning drop off.
Just a week away
Our Student Council is arranging a school dance on May 29th. The cost of entrance for the "family dance" portion of the evening is one can of food (non-perishable) which will be donated. For the 6-8th grade portion of the dance, the cost is $10, which includes pizza. Please join us for this great event!

Bonus picture(s) of the week: students enjoying field day and all the hi-jinks involved!
Spirit Wear Fridays
Please keep in mind the dress code for Spirit Wear Fridays. Students can wear blue jeans, khaki chinos or their daily uniform. Leggings, yoga pants and cut out jeans are not allowed. Any shirt, sweatshirt or sweater with a Saint Peter School logo are allowed, provided that the logo item is worn and visible all day long. Parents will be notified if students are not dressed correctly.
Water Bottles
AS the weather gets warmer, please make sure that your child comes to school with a refillable water bottle. The middle school students can fill up their water bottles from the Poland Spring 5 gallon bottles and the elementary school students can do so at the water cooler stations. Every year, we go through thousands of disposable cups because students do not bring their water bottles to school; so please help us (and your child) out!
Ok, maybe not this many water bottles; just one per person!
