September
From The Principal's Desk
Dear Highlander Families,
What a wonderful first two weeks of school! We are off to a fantastic start! Our students are settling into their routines, building relatiionships, and filling our classrooms with excitement, curiosity, and new learning. Thank you, parents, and families, for helping make the beginning of our school year such a smooth and successful one!
As students continue to settle into their daily routines, we ask that if you are walking your child to class, please help us by making drop-off at the classroom door quick and efficient. This allows teachers to begin the day with their students and helps everyone get settled and ready to learn. If you have questions or need to communicate with your child's teacher, please feel free to send them a message through Class Dojo.
βΎ A Huge Thank You to Our PTA!
We want to give a big Highlander thank you to our amazing PTA for all the love and support they showed our staff during the first week of school! From decorating our school to welcome our students, providing breakfast for our staff, and surprising teachers with a thoughtful welcome back gift, PTA helped make the start of our year extra special.
We are so grateful for your partnership, generosity, and continued support of our McAndrew staff and students. We truly appreciate you!
Here's to a wonderful school year ahead! Let's keep knocking it out of the park!
Go Highlanders!
Sincerely,
Vicki Kilpatrick
