🏈Husky of the Day🏈

Last night, we had an honary player/captain for our Husky football team!

Tucker Alt suited up and helped our Huskies earn a win last night! He helped the referees with the coin toss, supported on the sideline and ran out with the team! Great job Tucker!

Message for the Week: Message for the Week:

    Message from Mr. Tejkl

Pictures are worth a thousand words but memories are priceless...

    Good morning!

I hope your weekend was a great one and that you were able to enjoy the awesome Nebraska weather that goes from sun, to rain, to some hail, to wind, to sunshine with heat and then back to cool as the soon drops back down! Either way, we had a great week at school and are excited about Homecoming this week! There are many great days to participate in so enjoy it!

Quote of the week comes from Dr. Seuss and has to do with those memories. Time is such a deceiver. You think that there is plenty of time or that the time lost today can be made up tomorrow but in reality, it can not. The time we capture lives on forever and those memories is what we cherish in the end.

The materialistic things in life is what makes the world go around but it isn't what the world should be made of. The memories and the time we share with others is what makes us. The joys, the sorrows; everything is connected in one way or the other. Through that, we are able to live, learn and thrive in our world. The thing is that sometimes we don't know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory. In the end, we need to enjoy our moments that come and appreciate the time that we have. Life moves fast!

Have a great rest of your Sunday and I will see you tomorrow!

Quote of the week to reflect on:

"Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory."

    Dr. Seuss

    Sincerely,

    Tucker Tejkl
