Principal's Message
Good Evening WHS Community,
Open House
Our Open House was a wonderful opportunity to welcome families and community members into Weymouth High School. We were so happy to see the families who joined us and to watch students, staff, and families connect throughout the evening. The positive energy and meaningful conversations reflected the strong sense of community that makes Weymouth High School such a special place. If you participated in Open House and did not get a chance to tell us how we are doing, please take a few minutes to complete the survey. Also here is the slideshow we shared at the Meet and Greet.
Early College High School (ECHS)
We are thrilled to launch Weymouth High School’s Early College High School (ECHS) program, a new opportunity for students to explore college and career pathways while earning college credit during high school.
Made possible through our growing partnership with Quincy College, the program builds on five years of successful dual enrollment collaboration. Over three years, students will take challenging college-level courses, earn 12–28 college credits, and receive academic and college-transition support. We are proud to welcome our first ECHS students and grateful to the families, staff, and Quincy College partners who helped make this opportunity possible.
Unified Basketball
Join us for our first home game of the season for Unified Basketball against Walpole. The game will be played on Tuesday, October 6th at 3:30 PM. Our team is excited to be back on the court for another exciting season.
Wildcat Way
Tomorrow is our Wildcat Way period. All students will be participating in a brief online survey. The survey will ask students to share their perspective on their own well being, student supports, and the overall WHS environment. The survey will take approximately 15 minutes to complete.
The senior class will be taking their Senior Class picture on the field and freshmen will also have an assembly for class elections.
Home Football Games
With home football game on 10/9, 10/16 and 10/29 we want to remind everyone of our game attendance expectations:
All children grades K-8 must be accompanied by an adult to gain entrance to an athletic event.
Children should be seated in the bleachers or standing along the fence with a parent or guardian at all times. We ask that no one is standing along the fence on the platform of the bleachers.
Children should not be gathering behind the bleachers, next to the concession stand, at the ticket booth, or in either end zone area .
All WHS students must show their IDs or their picture in Aspen to get into the game
High School students are encouraged to sit/stand in the student fan section
No outside beverages allowed into the stadium.
No bags, backpacks, bicycles, scooters, rollerblades etc. will be allowed into the stadium.
Any student on social probation can not attend the football games.
No re-entry if you leave the game early.
Student Behavior and Accountability: Students are expected to demonstrate respectful, responsible, and appropriate behavior at all times and will be held accountable for their actions and choices.
We appreciate your help with the implementation of these expectations and rules to ensure student safety while giving our fans the opportunity to completely enjoy the game. High school sporting events are meant to be enjoyable for everyone involved, including the athletes, coaches, and fans. Following these expectations helps create a positive and supportive environment that enhances the overall experience for all attendees.
