St Anthony's School News

Week 1 - Thursday 23rd April 2026
St Anthony's School community works collaboratively to teach and live the values of Christ. While respecting tradition, and to meet the demands of a rapidly changing society, it strives to educate our children to their full potential.
Principal's Address
May the glory and the promise of this joyous time of year
bring peace and happiness to you and those you hold most dear.
And may Christ, Our Risen Saviour, always be by your side
to bless you most abundantly and be your loving guide. Amen
Welcome back to school for Term 2. It will be another exciting time with lots happening during the term. To keep up-to-date with school events, please check the live calendar on the school website. My thanks to Mr Barns and the Senior Leadership Team – Mrs Clinch and Mrs King, for their leadership of the school during my absence.

Code of Conduct and St Anthony's Way
A reminder that every member of the St Anthony’s School community – staff, students and parents/carers – are expected to behave in the manner described in our Code of Conduct and our St Anthony’s Way.
The school’s Code of Conduct and St Anthony’s Way defines behaviours that keep our students safe: at school and elsewhere. Children and young people surrounded by adults and peers behaving as defined in the Code and our St Anthony’s Way are more likely to recognise and choose healthy relationships for themselves.

Your Move Help
Get Involved with Our “Your Move” Campaign
We are looking for interested members of our school community to help lead and support our Your Move campaign.
Your Move is a program that encourages students and families to choose active and sustainable ways to travel to school—such as walking, riding, scooting, or using public transport. The goal is to build healthy habits, reduce traffic around the school, and create a more active, connected community.
To keep the momentum going, we are hoping to form a small group of parents and community members who are willing to take a lead role in supporting the campaign.
This might include:
- Helping to plan and promote initiatives such as Your Move Wednesdays
- Organising simple activities or events throughout the year
- Assisting with rewards and prize systems for students
- Supporting communication and promotion within the school community
There is no expectation to take on a large workload—any level of support is appreciated, and involvement can be flexible.
If you are interested in getting involved or would like to find out more, please contact the school office or speak with me directly.
We would love to build a team of enthusiastic community members to help make active travel a regular part of school life.
