The Pirate Press

We invite you to join us for an evening of learning and connection! During Open House, you’ll have the opportunity to follow your student’s daily schedule and get a better understanding of what your child is learning and experiencing in the classroom.
What to Expect:
- You will move as a group from class to class, following your student’s schedule.
- Teachers will provide an overview of classroom learning, routines, and expectations.
- This evening is designed to give you a glimpse into your child’s school day.
Please Note: Open House is not a Parent-Teacher Conference. If you have specific questions or concerns about your child, please reach out to the teacher to arrange a separate meeting.
Need a copy of your schedule? Printed schedules will be available for families who are unable to access their student’s schedule through ASPEN. We look forward to welcoming you and giving you a peek into your student’s school experience!
Superintendent's Message
Hull Public Schools recently completed its Five-Year Strategic Plan (2026–2031), developed through an inclusive, community-driven process in partnership with the Teaching & Learning Alliance (TLA). This plan was guided by an 18-member committee of staff, students, parents and community members who followed a thoughtful, inclusive, and community-driven process to establish a clear direction for the future of our school district.
Our Mission: Anchored in Hull’s proud history and committed to its future, we provide safe, equitable, and challenging opportunities that inspire all students to become responsible, resilient, and engaged citizens.
Our Vision: Honoring Community. Promoting Confidence. Sparking Curiosity.
Our Core Values: Respect, Inclusion, Endurance, Safety, Curiosity, and Belonging.
Our Four Cardinal Points (Strategic Priorities):
- Teaching and Learning: Aligning curriculum, assessments, and instruction across all grade levels.
- Engagement and Partnerships: Fostering strong relationships among schools, families, and the community.
- Community and Culture: Sustaining a thriving educational environment that promotes unique programming and attracts high-quality staff.
- Budget, Finance, Technology, and Facilities: Providing safe, efficient, and future-focused learning environments through responsible fiscal stewardship.
Next Steps: The district is transitioning from planning to implementation, which will involve creating specific action steps, measuring progress, and developing visual dashboards to keep the community informed.
Community. Confidence. Curiosity.
