The Sunnyvale Debate Team had a great showing this weekend at the Prosper TFA tournament. In Varsity Policy Debate, Lyla Gent and Amit Kumar took 1st place, and Valentina Fernandez and Timothy Samuel as well as Ryanne Vanmeter and Riley Shackleford were quarterfinalists. Rowan McDaniel took 1st place in novice Lincoln Douglass Debate. Andrew Maresca and Chloe Ross were semifinalists in Varsity Congress. Great job Debate!

CJ Wottlin, Colin Watson, Wyatt Moore, and Stephan Kahng competed in the Flower Mound Fall Classic at the Tour 18 golf course on September 11th. The golfers played well with an average score of 88 and represented Sunnyvale High School with grit! #SGT

Lady Raider Cross Country:

These girls rocked it last week: Varsity Girls- 2nd place overall! Medalists: Varsity: Victoria- 3rd, Kaelyn- 4th, Alyssa- 11th, Brooke- 16th, Miriam- 17th, Danica- 20th

JV Girls were meet Champions! Medalists:

Lydia- 3rd, Story-5th, Aubrey- 6th, McKynzie- 7th, Bryleigh- 8th, Aneelah- 9th, Mena- 11th, Hannah- 14th, Caitlyn- 20th, Gracie G- 21st, Gracie Z.- 24th

Raider Cross Country:

Tyrus Cowan wins another 6A race with a time or 15.54 on a tough course.

Dev Kumar earns 3rd Place with a time of 17.01

Liam Arogan and Tyler Bunch also medaled in their race. Jess Jese, Skyler Campos, Jorge Martinez, and Felipe Castellon performed well to earn the team a 4th place finish out of 16 teams.

Welcome to your BRAND NEW PTA exclusively for the students, teachers and parents of Sunnyvale Middle School and High School!

In order to meet the demands of our growing Student Body and Teacher populations in the school district, we have formed a brand new PTA that focuses solely on the Middle School and High School campuses. When you join this PTA, 100% of your funds will be used exclusively on events, engagements, and activities at these two schools.

If you are a parent or teacher reading this, we want you to know that we see you and hear you. We know that you are emotionally invested in the children at these schools. And we know that we can only exist as an organization with your support, not just financially, but also emotionally, spiritually, and physically. To be frank, we NEED you.

We are extraordinarily grateful for every single dollar you can give, every single hour you can volunteer, every single item you can donate to our organization. We are just getting started, but we truly hope that you will join us on this journey and help us to grow this PTA into something that will reflect the standard of excellence we have come to expect from our Sunnyvale School District.
