Senior Shoutouts
Faculty, students, and family: Please fill out this form to show our seniors how much you love them! Share a memory, shout-out, or positive thought with senior students that are special to you! You may send messages to as many seniors as you'd like; again, we want every senior to be recognized. All of the messages will be printed and given to our seniors at Senior Night on Thursday, May 21, 2026. Please submit your messages by Wednesday, April 1, by midnight.

Quiz Bowl Team Update
On Monday, March 9, the AC Flora Quiz Bowl Team participated in the R1 District meet where Flora went up against Keenan and Dreher High schools. Flora defeated Keenan High and tied with Dreher entering a tie breaker round where Dreher finished ahead of Flora by two points.
Coaches Broadnax and Cross are proud of the quiz bowl team this year and excited to continue to build a strong team next year!
AC Flora Students Tour Michelin
Engineering students from our CTE program were among a group of students from Richland County School District One who recently toured the Michelin tire manufacturing facility. The visit was part of an annual event organized by MEBA and hosted in partnership with Midlands Technical College.
During the tour, students observed the tire production process and learned about the advanced technology and engineering expertise required in modern manufacturing. They were also introduced to the Michelin Technical Scholars Program and the Michelin School to Work Program, which offer scholarships, hands-on training, and part-time employment while students pursue degrees in fields such as Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering Technology (MET), and Electronics Engineering Technology (EET).
Juniors and Seniors! Prom Update
Prom permission forms for A.C. Flora students, as well as outside guests, are now available in the Main Office and the Media Center! Please return your signature page to Ms. Michel in room 349 or Ms. Jacobs in room 355 (or Mr. Hearn in room 822 for outside guests!) by Thursday, April 23, at the latest. After returning your completed form, you will receive an access code and a ticket link in your student email inbox to complete your ticket purchase. You will not be able to purchase a prom ticket without this access code! An email was sent from Ms. Michel to all 11th and 12th grade students today with more information.
