Students should not miss more than 20 days in a school year max. A student who misses 20 or more days could be retained in their current grade level. It is important to send your student to school daily so they can keep up on their grade level skills and also learn routines are important to being successful in daily life.

If your student is ill, has an appointment, or has to be gone for any other reason please call the school as soon as you can so we can be aware of what is going on.

Counselor's Corner

Welcome back! We are so excited to be starting another year. Getting back into "the swing of things" can be challenging when it comes to returning to school. To help your child navigate the transition, establishing consistent routines can greatly aid in the success of this process. Things you can do include having your child going to bed at roughly the same time each evening, even on the weekends. You can also have them get their stuff ready the night before to help reduce the stress of having to do it in the early morning. This also helps teach them the responsibility of making sure they have what they need for school. and planning ahead. As always, please let us know if you have concerns about your child.
