Welcome Back Warren School Families ! Welcome Back Warren School Families !

We are back and settling into our new school year. We've had a great first three days and are so thrilled to have our students back in the building.

Thank you so much for supporting our new parking and traffic flow pattern. It has been a real success so far and is working to keep our parents & students safe.

Notes from the Health Office

Welcome back to school from the health office! I am looking forward to another great year supporting students at both Warren and Fayston Schools. I will be on-site at Warren Monday mornings, and all day on Wednesdays and Fridays. Please never hesitate to reach out with any health questions or concerns. You can connect with me any day of the week either by email dfennelly@huusd.org or by phone at (802)583-7918.

Our Annual Health Questionnaire is part of the online registration process for new and returning students. Completing this form is essential in order to best care for your child at school. There is a section regarding permission to administer over the counter medication (for example Tylenol/Advil). A call or email home will be made any time we give a non-prescription medication at school.

Prescription medication requires separate paperwork. Medicine (including inhalers) cannot be given at school unless we have written permission from both the physician and parent. Medicine should be brought to school by an adult in its original container and should be given to the health office or to Heidi Greene. Please do not send medication in your child’s backpack.

Each child must have up to date immunizations to enter school. If you choose to have your child exempt from immunizations, there is a Religious Exemption form that must be filled out annually.

Sickness policy ~ here are some guidelines:

  • Please keep your child home if they have fever, diarrhea, vomiting, rash, persistent cough, and cold symptoms that can not be managed by the student.

  • If your child is sent home sick from school with an illness they must be fever free for 24 hours without fever reducing medication, and no vomiting or diarrhea for 24 hours before returning to school.

  • If a student is not well enough to be able to learn or participate in school, please consider keeping them home.

Thank you for your cooperation in helping us take care of all our students here at the Warren School. If you have any questions or concerns about your child, please contact me at school.
