Wolverines in Action π€©
Last Friday was High Five Friday again!
MHS Cheerleaders greeted students with enough CHEER to fill our Friday with positive vibes.

A big shout out to Jeremy Benson, who runs the Grand River Conference website, blog, and social media.
He came and spoke to Mrs. McCulley's Sports Writing and Literature class on Friday about reporting on high school sports. The students learned a lot!
Thank you, Jeremy!
NWEA MAP Growth π
Wolverine Families,
Within the next two weeks, your child (grades 7-10) will be taking the MAP Growth assessment from NWEA. This assessment is new to our district, but has been used in many other districts around the nation for several years with great success.
MAP Growth scores help our staff check student performance by measuring achievement and growth. Teachers use results to tailor classroom lessons and set goals for students.
Following each testing period, you will receive a Family Report showing a summary of how your child is performing academically. Additional communication will be sent when Family Reports are ready to be sent home.
We are truly excited to focus on your childβs individual growth and achievement. For more information about MAP Growth, visit NWEA.org/familytoolkit or click on the information below.
The Energy Bus π
This year, our school theme and character education lessons will be centered around the book The Energy Bus.
Weβre excited to focus on building a culture of positivity, teamwork, and growth as we help our students stay βon the busβ toward success! Each month we will focus on a new rule that will help our students fuel their life with positive energy.
More information will be coming soon!
