Dear BRHS Families,

Well, we cannot believe we are already in the new school year! The BRHS PTO welcomes all current and incoming families for the new school year at BRHS!

We are very excited to introduce our very first Bi-Weekly Newsletter this year! We believe that positive communication is the key to success to our endeavors, as we collaborate with all the BRHS Families, School Administration, Teachers & Staff for a common goal!

Our PTO is committed to working together with the school administration, teachers & staff, and all BRHS families. Many memorable events & initiatives in the last school year like Back to School Lunch for Teachers & Staff, Ice cream for Freshman students, Teachers Appreciation Week, Teacher Mini Grants, Senior Student Awards/Honorariums, School Assemblies wouldn't have been possible without your kind heart and generous donations. Thank you!

We are excited to partner with you to ensure a successful and enriching year for all our students, teachers and BRHS community. There are opportunities for everyone to get involved as it suits you. "Many Hands, Make Light Work." If you are interested in helping at the PTO events, please let us know.

2025-26 BRHS PTO BOARD

The BRMS PTO had organized free Ice Pop distribution for all Freshman Students on Aug 27th after the Freshman Orientation. The BTSL was organized on Aug 28th for all teachers and staff. Thanks to all BRHS families whose generous donations helped us organize these events before the start of the new school year! Special thanks to all volunteers who donated their time to coordinate these events.

The BRHS PTO is comprised of parents and teachers and committed to providing educational, cultural, and social experiences for the students of BRHS. We welcome all families and faculty/staff members to join the PTO. The stronger the membership, the more we can enrich our students' educational experience! Only one form per family is required. To kick off freshman year with a little color and a lot of fun, the BRHS PTO is once again offering FLOCK-A-FRESHMAN! A flamboyance of pink flamingos is ready to welcome freshman to their first year at Bridgewater-Raritan High School (any group of birds can be called a flock, but a group of flamingos is specifically known as a "flamboyance").

Several flocks of long-legged, pink birds have been circling the district, looking for places to land. Why not on the front lawn of an unsuspecting freshman student? For a $40 donation ($35 for PTO Members) to the BRHS PTO, a flock will spend a day frolicking on a freshman student's front lawn. These birds fly at night, so they are likely to remain on the lawn for less than 24 hours.

Attention - All Junior and Senior HS Students!

It is time to enroll for Fall Prep Courses for PSAT & SAT Exams! Choice of Sundays 1-4pm/6-9pm or Tuesdays 6-9pm starting Sep 7th or 9th. Cost: $489 includes Official SAT Study Guide 2nd edition book by College Board and PSAT/SAT Strategy Guide. Strategies are taught, and lessons are given, for all areas tested on the Digital PSAT and SAT exams: Reading, Writing, and Math. Students complete two official College Board exams. Each test question is demonstrated, step-by-step on a whiteboard, and students get their score for each test module along with additional material for continued practice. Instructor is Susan Alaimo, who has a master’s degree from Columbia University and has been preparing BRHS students for their PSAT & SAT exams for over 25 years. This Fall, the BRHS PTO is partnering with the local photographer - Jessica Shangle of Jessica Shangle Photography for an outdoor Photo session with family and Friends. The mini sessions will take place in 15 minute intervals from 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM in Bridgewater, NJ (location : TBD) on Saturday, Oct 18th and on Sunday, Oct 19th. Cost: $65/family.

$25 will be donated to the BRHS PTO. The 10 digital photos will be emailed to the participants within 72 hours. Dogs are welcome but they need to on leash all the time!

All sales are non-refundable, but you may transfer your session to a friend provided you provide us with advance notice and their contact info. Please arrive 10 minutes early to ensure you're on time for your session. If you are running late, please let us know. We will send a message the day before with final details.
